Balea Dry Shampoo - Trend it up

dry shampoo review

This is the first dry shampoo I tried and I can say am am pretty pleased with it, I did not expect to like it so much but now it is a needed buy for the me.

I purchased this in DM Drogerie in my town for about 4 dollars (11 Ron). My hair gets greasy the next day after I wash my hair so spraying this on the next day makes it last one more day until I wash my hair again.

I can see an added volume and my hair felt fresh and clean afterwards(obviously nothing can replace a proper shower but it came pretty close) and it didn't weight my hair down in any way.

The smell is a little too heavy for me, like a hairspray I needed to spray it on my hair in a room with the windows opened for a good ventilation.

Regarding the residual white cast I have natural blonde hair so for me personally, it seemed to help restore my hair to its original color (my hair gets very dark-looking when it's oily) but I can definitely see a white powder forming and I brush it off. This might be a problem though for those with darker hair colour.

PROS:

  • good price
  • good added volume
  • easy application
  • great for traveling
  • looks really nice on blonde hair

CONS:

  • heavy smell/ hairspray like
  • white looking on darker hair
  • consumes very quickly -one bottle lasted  for about 6 to 8 applications
Do you use dry shampoo? Which one do you like?
